T-Mobile launches $30 ‘4G Unlimited Internet’ plan
Wireless carrier T-Mobile launched Wednesday its new “4G Unlimited Internet” plan that lets customers browse the web on their smartphones without surcharges or speed limits.
The plan is designed to satisfy data-hungry customers who want to experience everything their smartphones are capable of and who want to do so without having to track their data usage, recharge their accounts, or have additional charges on their bill.
“Once again T-Mobile is a pioneer in offering its customers a value proposition, tailored to their needs. Consumers want unlimited data and this move reinforces our values and leadership while capitalizing on the strength of our 4G HSPA +42 network,” said Jorge Martel, general manager of T-Mobile Puerto Rico.
“This launch is the culmination of several months of continuous improvement and the coverage and performance expansion of T-Mobile’s 4G service, which allow us to offer consumers an unparalleled 4G experience through this plan, without limit, without being charged extra,” he said.
T-Mobile’s “4G Unlimited Internet” will cost $30 a month, when added to a voice plan. For example, an individual plan with unlimited local voice and text combined with the new offer will cost $69.99 a month.
The service will be available for Android, Windows and Blackberry smartphones, for new and existing customers and can be added to most plans.
