Wireless carrier AT&T has activated two new 4G mobile Internet cell sites in St. Croix that will enhance coverage and capacity for area residents and businesses and provide speeds up to four times faster than 3G, the company said Tuesday.
Scrub Island Resort, Sacred Heart University and AT&T have made recent executive appointments filled by Puerto Ricans or that will affect the island from abroad.
Wireless carrier AT&T announced Monday it has added extra capacity to 28 cell sites in St. Thomas and St. Croix; upgraded five sites in St. John, St. Thomas and St. Croix with LTE technology; and activated a new cell site in St. Thomas in its ongoing efforts to enhance the wireless capacity and coverage of its mobile Internet network available in the neighboring island chain.
