Latitud Sur, a “pop-up” restaurant that will open in Ponce as part of the North to South Gastronomic Fair taking place Sept. 19-22, will gather some of the island’s best chefs who will offer contemporary Puerto Rican food during the eatery’s short stint in front of Sears Home Life at the Plaza del Caribe mall, organizers said.
Last weekend, Puerto Rico became the mecca for some 7,000 food enthusiasts who descended upon a beachfront bluff at Escambrón beach to savor the best dishes and drinks from the island’s culinary elite who gathered for Saborea de Puerto Rico.
Food enthusiasts from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean will be able to take a bite out of the island’s best dishes this weekend, during the 6th edition of the Saborea Puerto Rico culinary fest, which will feature a constellation of local and international chefs.
