Grupo Guayacán Inc. (GGI) announced the 22 local businesses selected to receive emergency funding through the Guayacán Start-Up Grants Program, an initiative launched in collaboration with the Banco Popular Foundation to support the economic recovery of emerging companies in Puerto Rico after Hurricane María.
With the goal of encouraging local entrepreneurship, Startup.pr is accepting proposals from emerging Puerto Rican businesses, for the first cycle of its new commercial pre-acceleration program.
United for Puerto Rico reached an agreement with Foundation for Puerto Rico, through which the latter will provide technical and administrative support in a cost-efficient manner to increase the organization’s capacity and agility to process grant applications, the nonprofits announced.
