The Pharmaceutical Industry Association of Puerto Rico will be holding its “Health System Reform and the Quality of Healthcare” summit Sept. 14 to provide a forum for healthcare industry professionals to share ideas about trends and practices that influence the health outcomes for the local community.
The Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce (CofC) is inviting the local business community to the Puerto Rico Healthcare & Insurance Conference 2012 “Economic Transformation in Health,” slated for Feb. 2 at the Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza Hotel & Casino.
The Puerto Rico Primary Care Association recently partnered with Alabama-based SuccessEHS to adopt electronic medical health record technology at participating community health centers, the most recent group of health practitioners to incorporate technology into their operations. The investment was not released.
