The Puerto Rico Hotel and Tourism Association will hold a job fair Nov. 16, at 9:30 a.m. at the International School of Hospitality and Culinary Arts of the Universidad del Este (UNE) in Carolina, trade group President Clarisa Jiménez announced.
The confusion caused by the repeal of traditional July holidays and misleading ads about inns offering sub-par services caused Puerto Rico’s small inns to experience a delay in reservations last weekend, which nonetheless exceeded 90 percent occupancy, Paradores de Puerto Rico executives said.
The Expedia group, the world’s largest online travel agency, announced Tuesday its expansion to the Cuban market that will allow Cuban hoteliers to sell inventory through global Expedia group sites as well as allow travelers to book hotels in the island destination.
