The Metro Pavia Health System and the Auxilio Mutuo Hospital are pitching in to Puerto Rico’s Hurricane Irma relief efforts by opening collection centers and offering healthcare services to those injured by the storm locally, as well as in the neighboring islands.
After a $10 million investment, Metro Pavía Health System has become the private hospital network with the highest number of medical tourism certifications in Puerto Rico, company executives said.
Metro Pavia Health System announced Thursday the start of its new $6.3 million growth and development plan for its medical facilities located in Puerto Rico’s north-central region with a groundbreaking ceremony for its future Metropolitan Office Building at the Hospital Metropolitano Dr. Susoni in Arecibo.
