The Foundation for Puerto Rico announced Thursday it is focusing its efforts on developing new social and economic strategies that will transform Puerto Rico into a global destination, based on the premise that tourism is key to improve the economy.
Columbus Communications and its local division Columbus Business Solutions recently delivered a donation of $60,000 each to Hogar Infantil Divino Niño Jesús in Luquillo and Hogares Teresa Toda in Canóvanas, from the proceeds of the 8th edition of its Charities Golf Tournament.
Motorambar in Puerto Rico, which is celebrating 50 years of doing business on the island, recently celebrated the second edition of its Motorambar Charity Golf Tournament, through which it collected $40,000 that were donated to local nonprofit Hogares Rafaela Ybarra.
