The New York Federal Reserve Bank will incorporate 19 videos on financial literacy created by local college students who participated in the third edition of the “Puerto Rico Financial Awareness Video Contest,” co-sponsored by the Puerto Rico Bankers Association.
Changes in federal regulations and the impact of the newly created Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on the local banking industry will be discussed for the next two days during the fifth edition of the “Minority Depository Training Seminar” co-sponsored by the Puerto Rico Bankers Association and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Attention Puerto Rico bank customers: Starting Feb. 14 individuals will not be allowed to wear sunglasses or hats while conducting a transaction at a local bank branch. Mobile telephone use will also be limited.
