The American Bankruptcy Institute and the Puerto Rico Bankruptcy Bar Association have joined together to celebrate the Caribbean Insolvency Symposium, Feb. 6-8 at the El San Juan Resort & Casino, organizers announced over the weekend.
The Puerto Rico Society of CPAs will be hosting a symposium on the newest accounting, auditing and internal control standards and findings, as well as other key topics for the profession on June 14, at the Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza.
The University of Puerto Rico’s Río Piedras campus will host the first interdisciplinary symposium on “Energy: Technology, Policy and Design,” to be held April 11-12, to expose Puerto Rico’s energy problem from an interdisciplinary point of view, school representatives announced.
