Embassy Suites finishes 1st phase of major renovation
The suites feature new furniture with a calming driftwood stain, flooring, drapery, textiles and lighting.
Embassy Suites hotels in Puerto Rico announced Wednesday the completion of the first phase of a renovation campaign at the Isla Verde and Dorado properties.
The overhaul included a full makeover of all 299 suites at the San Juan hotel and bathroom upgrades in all suites at the Dorado resort. The investment made to reboot the properties was not disclosed.

Designed to blend the Caribbean colors and personality of the island, the suites at the San Juan property offer a “soothing and bright ambiance that brings the sky, sand and sea indoors,” the company said.
The suites feature new furniture with a calming driftwood stain, flooring, drapery, textiles and lighting, complemented by a spacious environment offering separate living area with sofa bed, a table for working or dining, a 55-inch flat screen TV in the living room, mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Guest bathrooms were also upgraded with new, lighted mirror, shower curtain and fresh coat of paint.
In addition to the bathroom touch-ups completed in all suites, Embassy Suites Dorado del Mar Beach Resort has started a second phase of renovations that includes subtle upgrades to all suites with no impact to the resort’s operation.
Expected for completion later this year, the project is in line with the resort’s plan for continued growth and delivery of exceptional service in Puerto Rico.
Embassy Suites Hotels offer two-room suites, free made-to-order breakfast and a complimentary evening reception with snacks and beverages. Guests also have access to complimentary 24-hour fitness center and business center.
