Engineers host job fair, more than 100 positions available

More than 50 local and international companies, with more than 100 positions available, will convene Feb. 25 at the Puerto Rico Association of Engineers and Land Surveyors’ Hato Rey headquarters to recruit engineers and surveyors.

The job fair — which is free of charge — is designed to offer new growth opportunities to licensed field professionals, the trade group said in an announcement released Thursday.

Hewlett Packard, Manpower, Lord Electric,  U.S. Customs, INGENTE, Snelling,  Johnson Control, RB Professional, Recoms Group and Alparma Integrate are among the firms that will be on hand recruiting and interviewing candidates.

“Local professionals are sought after internationally and locally for their excellent training. We put out the call, for the first time in the Association’s history, for companies to meet at our headquarters and we had an excellent response. We hope through this initiative to help in the job-seeking process,” said Angel González-Carrasquillo, head of the trade group known as the CIAPR in Spanish.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more details, call 787-758-2250.
