Integra Design Group marks 25 years, $3.5B in projects across regions

Integra Design Group is celebrating 25 years in business in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and the United States, and has led more than 4,000 projects valued at more than $3.5 billion.
Founded in 2000 by engineer Carlos Báez, architect Richard Cuebas and the late Carlos Purcell, the firm is among Puerto Rico’s largest engineering and design companies.
Its portfolio includes hospitals, schools, government facilities, commercial spaces and residences.
After Hurricane María, Integra helped reconstruction efforts, addressing urgent infrastructure needs.
The anniversary was marked with an event at the Garden Inn Hotel in San Juan, where Báez and Cuebas recognized Purcell’s role in shaping the company.
“Thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for building with us. There is still much ahead, and we are confident that, together with our employees, clients and collaborators, we will continue to succeed,” Báez told attendees.
The firm has generated hundreds of direct and indirect jobs, working with public and private entities to develop resilient structures.
Integra said it plans to expand in the U.S. mainland market while continuing to invest in Puerto Rican talent, offering professionals opportunities to advance without leaving the island.
