Liberty adds new HD channels to lineup

Luquillo’s Liberty Cablevision of Puerto Rico announced Thursday the addition of new channels to its high-definition and basic service tiers.
The new additions are: Disney Jr. & Disney Jr. HD, respectively available on channel 93 in the basic service tier and channel 265 in the high-definition lineup; E! HD will be on channel 254; and WAPA 2 HD, on channel 284.
“With these new changes, we reaffirm our leadership in HD programming in Puerto Rico,” said Gabriel Palerm, sales and marketing director at Liberty Cable Puerto Rico. “With this launch, we will have a total of 72 HD channels, of which 13 are star channels and 59 are general programming.”
Furthermore, Liberty customers now have more choices in high definition premium channel programming, including movies, classic movies, original series, sports and documentaries available 24 hours a day and commercial-free.
Among the new channels are: HBO Signature HD (channel 201), HBO Family HD (channel 202), HBO Latino HD (channel 203), HBO Zone HD (channel 204), More Max HD (channel 206), Showtime 2 HD (channel 208), The Movie channel HD (channel 210) Starz Edge HD and (channel 212).
