Nestlé expands food, beverage portfolio in Puerto Rico

Dora Márquez, marketing director and general manager for Nestlé Professional Solutions in Puerto Rico, during the announcement of the company’s expanded beverage and culinary portfolio on the island.

Nestlé Professional Solutions is expanding its beverage and culinary portfolio in Puerto Rico as part of a growth strategy that identifies the island as a key market for the company in the Americas.

The company said it will introduce the Nestlé Vitality cold beverages portfolio, add new global brands to its culinary lineup and strengthen its network of local business partners.

“Puerto Rico is a market of great relevance and importance for Nestlé Professional Solutions, with abundant opportunity to offer even more of our products and solutions across various out-of-home eating occasions,” said Dora Márquez, marketing director and general manager for Puerto Rico.

“We’re excited to continue bringing the best of our global consumer brands to the island, and executing our growth strategy that combines investment, innovation and the development of alliances with local partners,” she said.

The Nestlé Vitality line, to be distributed locally by V. Suárez & Co., features more than 80 cold beverage options, ranging from juices and fruit blends to flavored and vitamin-infused waters, lemonades and iced teas. All products are made without high-fructose corn syrup or FD&C certified colors, using only natural ingredients.

Nestlé has also expanded its culinary offerings with well-known brands such as Stouffer’s, Chef-mate and Nestlé Toll House, distributed through José Santiago Inc. These additions aim to meet the needs of hotels, restaurants and micromarkets as consumer preferences evolve toward greater variety and convenience.

Currently, Nestlé Professional Solutions maintains partnerships with major local operators including Wendy’s, Gaby Mini Donas, FransGlobal, Total Petroleum, American Gas, Courtyard by Marriott and Sheraton Casino.

“With an increasingly robust operation, we reaffirm our commitment to continue being a strategic partner for Puerto Rico’s economic development, driving innovation and strengthening the island’s food industry,” said Nestlé Business Manager Johanne Corsino.
