Evertec recently awarded its “Chairman’s Award” to 10 of its top employees, company President Mac Schuessler announced Thursday.

“Our colleagues are our most important asset and together, we are focused on creating a culture where people can grow, develop and above all, feel proud to be an essential part of our success,” he said.

The employees from across Evertec awarded for their contributions in 2016 were: Mayra Millán, Wildelis Vega, Rubén Quiñones, Félix Hernández, Rodolfo Nazario, Edmanuel Rodríguez, Esteban Zamora, Andrea Vázquez, Greivin Ramírez and Patricia Parrado.

Along with a companion, the awardees had the opportunity to join Schuessler and Frank D’Angelo, Evertec chairman, for a weekend in New York, which included a once-in-a-lifetime experience of ringing the closing bell at New York Stock Exchange.

Four years ago Evertec became the first Puerto Rican technology company to become publicly traded.
