As part of its commitment to social responsibility to the island, Scotiabank de Puerto Rico recently conducted a fundraising campaign through which it managed to raise $26,500 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

“We are very pleased with the support received from our employees and customers during this past fundraising initiative to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association,” said Peter Bessey, president of Scotiabank.

“We thank everyone who participated in this show of solidarity and empathy with MDA patients who need our support initiatives. I am also proud to see that we have people committed to such an important cause,” he said.
