Scotiabank offers home-buying workshop

Scotiabank customers and the general public received advice on the best way to go about buying a home.

Scotiabank recently offered a workshop for customers and the general public on the steps to buy a property and the importance of establishing a budget.

The briefing offered attendees information on different aspects to consider when starting the mortgage process and the way to go about them. Similarly, participants were introduced to the necessary tools to establish a budget and manage credit efficiently, to pave the way for a smooth mortgage process.

“Buying a property is one of the most important decisions you will make in your life. And part of the institution’s commitment is to offer customers, and the general public, guidance that will help them make good decisions and to fulfill the dream of owning their own home,” said Ricardo Domenech, senior vice president of Scotiabank’s mortgage department

The workshop was part of “Scotiabank Te Guía” Education Program, which aims to guide consumers on various financial topics.
