T-Mobile marks 9 years of Tuesdays with Puerto Rico-exclusive perks

T-Mobile is marking the ninth anniversary of its T-Mobile Tuesdays loyalty program with a series of high-impact giveaways, perks and exclusive experiences — and Puerto Rico is taking center stage.
Since launching the program on the island in 2019 — three years after its debut in the continental U.S. — T-Mobile has delivered hundreds of geo-targeted offers for its Puerto Rico customers, generating “millions of redemptions,” carrier officials said.
Local businesses such as Soft & Creamy, Supermax and Skootel have featured in weekly promotions. T-Mobile stated the campaign demonstrates “T-Mobile’s commitment to personalization” in its approach to customer rewards.
“Since rolling out T-Mobile Tuesdays in Puerto Rico in 2019, we’ve made significant investments to deliver geo-targeted, locally relevant perks to customers,” the company said. “To date, we’ve delivered hundreds of tailored offers across the island, resulting in millions of redemptions by T-Mobile customers.”
As part of this year’s “Thankiversary” celebration, Puerto Rico customers will have access to Bad Bunny’s sold-out “No me quiero ir de aquí” residency, which begins July 11 at the Puerto Rico Coliseum, aka el Choli. Through the T-Life app and Magenta Pass, customers can access concert tickets, on-site perks and VIP experiences.
“Just by showing your Magenta Pass, we’ll level up your concert experience during all 30 dates of Bad Bunny’s residency,” said Lyanette Dávila, marketing director at T-Mobile. “We’ve invested in infrastructure and tech to boost network performance at the Choli, so you can share more, stream more and stay connected.”
Special promotions include access to Club Magenta, a pre-show lounge near the venue and a VIP area inside the coliseum. Between June 26 and July 17, five customers will win suite access for themselves and five guests, with food, drinks and party bus transportation from the Distrito T-Mobile entertainment complex in San Juan.
T-Mobile emphasized that customers in Puerto Rico receive the same branded merchandise as those in the mainland U.S. and reaffirmed its position on national inclusion.
“While some national brands operate under separate systems that may not extend to Puerto Rico and other markets, sometimes limiting their ability to offer localized thankings, we consistently advocate for inclusion,” the company said. “All merchandise gifted to customers through T-Mobile Tuesdays is the same across the United States and Puerto Rico.”
