For the fifth year in a row, Puerto Rico’s Center for a New Economy (CNE) has been included in the most recent edition of the 2017 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report published by the University of Pennsylvania’s Lauder Institute.
With the goal of stimulating the investment of national and foreign capital, a group of Puerto Rican experts in the fields of finance and economy have come together to create action-tank “Puerto Rico is the Answer,” to drum up investments for the island.
Nonprofit Association of Latino Professionals in Finance & Accounting, or ALPFA, recently hosted a meet-and-greet networking event gathering more than 100 young business professionals from different organizations and colleges looking to form alliances to strengthen Puerto Rico’s economy and education through collaborations, initiatives and creative solutions that pursue positive results.
Puerto Rico’s Center for a New Economy has been included in the seventh annual 2013 Global Go To Think Tanks Report, the most comprehensive ranking of the world’s top think tanks commissioned by the World Bank. The nonprofit ranked 69th among the world’s 80 “think tanks to watch.”
