Taste of Japan culinary event to be held for 1st time in Puerto Rico
The event “seeks to transform the gastronomic and artistic experience on the island.”
Japanese culture will be the star of Taste of Japan, an event celebrating Japanese culture, tradition and culinary excellence on April 27 at El Patio Fusion Lounge in Dorado.
“The entrance includes food and drink tastings, and some exclusive products will also be available for sale,” said Petya Ivanova of Premium Pour Productions, the event producer.
This event is not only about entertainment but also about education.
“It’s a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to delve into the rich cultural heritage of Japan, learn about different traditions, and support culture,” Ivanova explained. “Whether you’re a connoisseur of Japanese culture or simply curious to experience something new, this event promises a memorable and enlightening experience for everyone.”
Guests will have the chance to immerse themselves in Japanese culture through their drinks, food and traditions.
“The atmosphere will transport you to a serene environment reminiscent of the beauty of the Japanese fields,” said the event organizers, adding that the VIP package provides access to a private bar with the Omakase experience.
“This is a rare chance to savor exclusive dishes prepared by the renowned chefs from Sushi by Bou,” they noted.
Local band Kaiwa will provide entertainment, and international artist Marni Mutrux will create an oil painting live, which will be auctioned off with proceeds going to charity.
