Enterprise Truck Rental, a service of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, has opened its first location in Puerto Rico. The new Carolina office operates a diverse fleet of trucks that are available for daily, weekly or monthly rentals.

Enterprise purchased the fleet of light-duty box trucks, cargo vans and pickups in Puerto Rico and will work with local service shops and other area vendors to maintain the vehicles, the company said.

“Trucks are always needed to move goods once they arrive on the island,” said Alex Rodas, who manages the Enterprise Truck Rental operation in Puerto Rico. “Whether a customer requires a short-term rental to move personal goods or a long-term rental for business, Enterprise can meet those needs.”

The first Enterprise Rent-A-Car office opened in Puerto Rico in 2007.

“Trucks were a natural evolution to fulfill the needs of our existing customers on the island,” Rodas added. “Offering trucks in Puerto Rico positions all of our local operations for future growth, as well as offers our employees new opportunities for development across our business lines.”

All Enterprise car rental and truck rental customers receive the brand’s level of service, including free pickup and 24-hour roadside assistance. In addition, Enterprise Truck Rental provides custom solutions to ensure customers receive the right truck model at the right rate and for the right terms.
