PdMTech, a Puerto Rican engineering and predictive maintenance firm and the Condition Monitoring & Maintenance Institute, will sponsor a “Maintenance & Reliability Engineering Master Class” on Oct. 5-6, the companies announced Tuesday.
A group of experts from North America, Europe and Latin America specializing in asset management and reliability engineering will be offering the master course, Ing. Jesús Sifonte, founder of PdMTech and event host announced.
“These highly specialized courses are aimed at managers of factories, engineering managers, maintenance managers and supervisors, production managers, reliability engineers and engineering project managers,” Sifonte said.
Participants will receive: an understanding of asset and maintenance management, reliability engineering and Condition Based Maintenance; their impact and requirements; the fundamentals of Reliability Centered Maintenance Reengineered; an understanding how to develop meaningful failure causes risk matrixes; and, development of the right failure consequence management policy, among other benefits.
A predictive maintenance course will be offered during the first day of the event, covering the following topics: Asset management; History of RCM (Reliability Engineering Applied Maintenance Management); and Principles of CBM (Condition Based Maintenance.)
Second-day courses will focus on Reliability Engineering, Planning & Scheduling and Human Reliability.
PdMTech focuses on predictive maintenance, an engineering discipline that shows the operating status of machinery and equipment in operation by non-destructive measurements of behavioral indicators.
