Sales & Marketing Execs to hold 11th annual convention

sme conference logoThe Puerto Rico Sales and Marketing Executives Association will host its 11th annual convention April 3-5, with a full agenda of panel discussions at the Convention Center.

The professional group will open the event by bestowing its annual “Premio Guanín” to Víctor Rivera-Solanas, best known for creating the “Atención, Atención” children’s program. Rivera-Solanas was chosen for “exalting Puerto Rico’s image, both locally and internationally during the year.”

The schedule of presentations for Wednesday includes presentations by Marco Casarín-Junco, general manager of Microsoft Puerto Rico, who will discuss “How to maximize your sales using technology,” and Toyota de Puerto Rico executives Mario Dávila and Nancy Navales who will present the Toyota case study.”

Thursday’s Keynote Speaker Ryan Estis, a well-known business performance expert and agent of change will talk about the “Communication Revolution” on Thursday, followed by a presentation by Franklin Covey executive Félix Pola on “Winning customer loyalty,” and a panel discussion on “Innovative Projects in the Media.”

Friday’s lineup includes a keynote address titled “Consultative Selling – Helping Clients Succeed!” by Randall Harvey, sales strategist and coach for Franklin Covey, followed by “The role of strategic planners in the Digital Era”  by the Puerto Rico Advertising Agencies Association.
