Liberty Puerto Rico opened Monday its newest store, a 1,537 square foot space located at the Centro Gran Caribe mall in Vega Alta.

“We’re are very pleased with the opening of our new store in Vega Alta,” said Naji Khoury, president of Liberty Puerto Rico. “This new store is part of our commitment to offering our customers more choices of service, accessibility and flexibility to make their payments, request changes or new services.”

Among other features, the new store has two Internet speed test stations for customers who want to try the 20Mbps and 60Mbps Internet connections, three TVs with the full Liberty lineup, as well as a large waiting area. This is the second store of its kind, which joins the Plaza Centro store in Caguas.

“We designed this space to be open, fluid, in keeping with our corporate values of integrity and reliability. To achieve this, we decided to replace the chairs with ottomans, and the usual waiting lines and numbers with a concierge system,” Khoury said. “We want our customers to feel confident in visiting us, contacting us and to customize their brand experience.”

Liberty customers from Hatillo, Vega Baja, San Juan and Levittown systems can make payments and any other transaction, such as subscribe to new services, add programming to their video packages, and equipment changes. Customers from Luquillo, Caguas and Humacao systems can make payments and any transaction except equipment changes, such as converters or cable modems. This new store replaces the Liberty Vega Baja office, which is no longer open to the public.

The new Vega Alta store will be operating seven days a week during the following hours: Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
