Innovative tools and Banco Popular advertising campaigns received four awards from the Sales and Marketing Executives Association, during the trade group’s recent digital conference. The bank took recognitions in two categories for digital innovation and use.
In the area of “Best Use of Data-Driven Solutions,” Popular swept the three places awarded. Gold, the highest award in the category, was awarded to Popular for its “Money Management Tool.” The tool, developed in-house, resides in Popular’s website and offers its users a different way to view and organize their finances.
The bank’s team also took Silver for the iPhone and iPod Touch application, while the bank’s firm Contáctica received the bronze for its “Auto Fácil” campaign for Popular Auto.
“We’re more than proud of our technology team’s work to develop tools of the highest quality, always thinking of our customers as a priority,” said Camille Burckhart, senior vice president of technology at Popular. “Technology is a major area of innovation and opportunity. Our digital tools and services reflect the level of knowledge of the Popular talent.”
Finally, the bank’s “Carrera de un País” campaign developed by the JWT advertising agency took bronze in the “Best Promo Activation” category.
