Convention Bureau representing P.R. in ASAE convention

Puerto Rico Convention Center

The Puerto Rico Convention Bureau will represent the Puerto Rico Convention Center during the upcoming American Society of Association Executives Annual Meeting & Expo taking place in St. Louis Aug. 6-9. The event is one of the convention industry’s largest gatherings of meeting planners of the year.

As a strategic alliance partner with the organization, Puerto Rico, the Convention Center and its hotel partners, which include Hilton Luxury Brands, Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino and Sheraton Old San Juan will have a significant presence during the show, Convention Bureau executives said Tuesday.

During the two-day exhibit, the Convention Center’s sales team and hotel partners will be on hand to sell the facility, area accommodations and the destination.

ASAE brings together more than 2,900 association executives for educational seminars, knowledge sharing, networking and meeting-site shopping. The organization serves approximately 10,000 associations that represent more than 287 million people and organizations worldwide.

“With many of the attendees seeking out new destinations to host their association annual meeting or other large scale event, the ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition provide a great opportunity for Puerto Rico to connect with final decision makers and key influencers on convention site selection,” the Convention Bureau said in a statement released Tuesday.
