O:live Boutique tapped for best-inspired design
Following its 2013 award, the O:live Boutique Hotel again has been nominated in 2014 by the London based International Boutique Hotel Awards in the category of best-inspired design in America and the World, hotel executives announced Monday.
Fernando Dávila, one of the owners of O:live, said the property is inspired by his Spanish roots and travel, oversaw the design and construction of this unique hotel, which raised the level of excellence for boutique hotels.
Open for two and half years, O:live, a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, continues to receive glowing reviews from exclusive travel magazines such as Conde Nast Traveler, Food and Wine, and Travel and Leisure.
In 2013 O:live garnered its first award as the “New Best Boutique Hotel in the World.” This was the first time that a boutique hotel in Puerto Rico received this type of recognition.
O:live’s attraction is the boutique hotel’s Mediterranean theme in the Caribbean lifestyle, featuring hints of four European Mediterranean coasts: Morocco, Italy, France, and Spain.
