Entrepreneurs and government officials from Florida and Puerto Rico gathered for the Orange County D4 Business Journey 2025, held at the Guidewell Innovation Center in Lake Nona.
Cybersecurity expert Alberto Rodríguez, CEO of Millennial Networks, warns that cybercrime has surpassed natural disasters and drug trade as ransomware attacks escalate, threatening health care systems and Puerto Rico’s digital infrastructure.
Companies that submitted cybersecurity plans include American Tugs, Buckeye Partners, Pan American Grain, Peerless Oil & Chemicals, Puerto Nuevo Terminal and others, according to the Puerto Rico Ports Authority.
